Right to object to data processing

Right to object to the processing of personal data (Article 21 GDPR)

Prerequisites for the right to object:

1. In the case of processing of personal data for the performance of tasks in the public interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. e DS-GVO) or for the protection of legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para . 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR) , you have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you at any time for reasons that arise from your particular situation with effect for the future.

2. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising.

Exercise of objection:

You must inform us of your decision to exercise your right to object by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).

If you exercise your right of objection due to the processing of personal data for the performance of tasks in the public interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. e DS-GVO) or for the protection of legitimate interests ( Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR), we ask that you explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done.

2. You can assert your right to object to the processing of personal data relating to you for the purpose of direct advertising or profiling, insofar as it is connected with such direct advertising, without stating any reasons.

Consequences of the contradiction:

1. In the event of a justified objection to the processing of your personal data, which is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letters e) or f) DS-GVO, we will examine the situation and will stop processing the personal data and delete the personal data concerned , unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

2. In the event of an objection to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of direct advertising or profiling, insofar as it is connected with such direct advertising, we will process the personal data concerning you for the purpose of direct advertising or profiling, insofar as it is connected with such direct advertising immediately refrain and delete the personal data concerned. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
